The short answer
What is a cat multivitamin powder?
A powder supplement that is mixed into food rather than chewed or swallowed as a pill. Whisker9 brings vitamins, amino acids, omega-3s and other nutrients together in one 2.5 g daily sachet, with every amount published. It is meant to accompany a complete diet, not replace it.

The format
Why a powder, not a chew.
A chew has to be a treat first. Binders, starches and flavor bases give it shape and appeal, and they take up room that could hold actives. A powder has no shape to keep. Almost all of each sachet can go to the formula itself, with a small flavor system and a flow aid.
Powder also disappears into food. For many cats, a mix-in that becomes part of a familiar meal is simpler than a separate treat or a pill.
- Pre-measured
- One sachet is one daily serving: 2.5 g. No scoops to level, nothing to guess.
- Sealed by the day
- Each serving stays closed until you tear it open, rather than sitting in a jar that is opened every morning.
- Disclosed
- All 17 actives are listed with their amount and form on our ingredient page.
Inside the sachet
More than vitamins.
A good cat multivitamin should respect how cats eat. Cats are obligate carnivores: they need nutrients like taurine and arginine from their diet, and they use fats efficiently for energy.
Whisker9 combines four groups in one serving: cellular-energy nutrients, core nutrition and antioxidants, B vitamins, and ingredients for digestion and joints.

See all 17 activesIs a powder better than a chew for cats?
Neither is right for every cat. A powder holds more of its weight as actives and mixes into food, while a chew is easier to give by hand. If your cat eats wet food every day, a powder is easy to add.
How do I give a cat multivitamin powder?
Tear open one sachet, mix it into a small portion of wet food, and offer the rest of the meal once it’s eaten. One 2.5 g sachet a day, mixed into wet food. Amounts are set for a 10 lb / 4.5 kg adult cat.
Does my cat need a multivitamin if they eat complete food?
Complete and balanced food is formulated to meet a cat’s essential nutrient needs. A supplement is an optional addition. Whisker9 is designed to add selected nutrients on top of a complete diet, and your veterinarian can help decide whether it suits your cat.
