Understanding picky cats
Picky is normal for cats.
Cats are cautious eaters by design. Smell drives most of their food decisions, many cats settle on firm preferences for texture and temperature, and anything new in the bowl can be treated with suspicion.
That’s why supplements often fail at the first step. A chew is a new object. A pill is a fight. A strong, unfamiliar smell can turn a cat off a meal they would otherwise eat.
